Arrived in Orio 15km Done

We had breakfast in a local café and departed San Sebastián at 8.00. It was
very overcast and humid. It was a 2 km hike skirting the beach before we
hit a steep ascent onto a ridge. The trek then undulated and was a mix of
small local roads and dirt tracks through forests and farmland. We
descended under the motorway and then dropped down into Orio for lunch.
Finished – Got the Bus to Bilbao

So we hiked from Orio into Zarautz and got a drink before jumping in the bus
to Bilbao. Then walked 30 minutes to our accommodation in the Old Town
before stopping for a beer.
Today distance is 27km with elevation of 567m.
Tomorrow we get the metro to Potugalete and walk to Castro Urdales about 27km but not much elevation. Weather is a little cooler at 25c and rain is due in the evening.
